Syllabus:

Microorganisms involved in hospital infections - characteristics, indentification and transmition, how they cause disease and how they are transmitted.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have demonstrated an understanding of the different microorganisms that are involved in nosocomial infections and how they are transmitted.
