Syllabus: | Introduction to community development in Indigenous contexts. Exploration of definitions, principles and some techniques of the practice of community development. Emphasis on the constraints and enablers of practising community development in Indigenous contexts. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Possessed an understanding of community development principles and how they are applied in Indigenous contexts. Possessed a working knowledge of community development practices and an appreciation of the various constraints and enablers to community development, in Indigenous contexts. Identified strategies and techniques for practising community development in Indigenous Contexts |
