Syllabus:

Matrices, Vector spaces, linear independence, bases of vector spaces, linear transformations, complex numbers, partial derivatives, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, vector calculus, ordinary differential equations.
 

Unit Outcomes:

At the completion of this unit the students will be able to - demonstrate an understanding of algebraic properties of vector spaces, matrices and complex numbers, solve basic differential equations.
