Syllabus: | Eligible termination payments and retirement income streams. History of superannuation, rights of beneficiaries, fund design, approved deposit funds, social security, the role of financial planning in pre-retirement, taxation concessions for contributions, reasonable benefit limits, roll-over products and taxation treatment of superannuation funds. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Knowledge of the great number of Australians facing a future in which they will need to support themselves throughout retirement. Understanding of superannuation and retirement planning issues. Provided optimal solutions for clients in both the accumulation and retirement phase. |
