Syllabus:

Guidelines and understandings for 'best practice' when working within Indigenous Australian contexts. Promotion of productive working relationships between Indigenous Australian Peoples and those who work in Indigenous Australian contexts, government departmental employees, consultants, researchers, mining industry representatives, community organisations representatives and, education and health services workers.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- A familiarity with guidelines and understandings for 'best practice' when working with Indigenous Australian contexts. The knowledge and skills required to promote productive working relationships between Indigenous Australian peoples and those who work in Indigenous Australian contexts, such as government departments, researchers, mining companies, community organisations, educational and health service providers.
