Syllabus: | Issues of cultural representation and signifying practices. Subcultural identities, genders and sexualities, historical contextualisation. Further development of academic writing, research and editing skills integrated with these topics. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Broadened and deepened their understanding of the dynamics of cultural practice. Broadened and deepened their understanding of the ways meanings are made. Extended and enhanced literacy and communication skills. Been introduced to research and discursive writing skills. |
