Syllabus:

Study of communication and culture, across a wide range of texts and genres in relation to cultural context. Development of academic writing, research and editing skills integrated with these topics.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An understanding of the dynamics of cultural practice. An understanding of the ways meanings are made. Extended and enhanced literacy and communication skills. Been introduced to research and discursive writing skills.
