Syllabus: | Provides a strategic level of understanding of contract and procurement management. Examines contract administration, the contract change or variation process, performance monitoring, and contract closeout. Pre-qualification management, supplier development, business case development, and dispute resolution are also covered. The course focuses on new contracting methodologies and leading edge examples. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have- Described the contract development process, and its interface to project completion. Described and analysed contract administration procedures and methods. Described the contracting alternatives available to managers today, and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each effectively research, on global scale, contracting problems and issues. Developed appropriate recommendations/solutions. |
