Syllabus:

Examination of the prospective client. Data gathering, client needs and strategies, plan preparation, developing the plan to CFP standard, implementation, and review.
 

Unit Outcomes:

At the end of this course, the student will have- An understanding of the legal, ethical, and professional requirements of providing comprehensive financial advice. Applied the basic financial strategies applicable to various age groups. Understand the practical issues of obtaining relevant data. Have the ability to build a comprehensive financial plan "tool-kit" for future use. Be able to prepare a comprehensive financial plan. Able to implement the financial plan and conduct a review of a financial plan.
