Syllabus:

Analysis of automatic control systems in the frequency domain. Compensations techniques using time and frequency methods. Case Studies in control system design. Commercial computer packages for analysis and design. State equation representation. Performance criteria. Sampled data systems and digital control systems.
 

Unit Outcomes:

To build on the knowledge gained in undergraduate studies by the study of more advanced concepts and methods in modelling and control theory applicable to Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering.
