Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit the student will have - Discussed the popular theories of pedal mechanics and related these to clinical practice. Described normal and abnormal parameters of gait and demonstrated these with quantitative analysis. Planned and prepared a small project involving measuring and interpreting joint motion, pedometry and medical imaging of the foot, and reported the results. Applied the principles of biomechanics and gaited analysis to the treatment and rehabilitation of the foot and ankle. |
