Syllabus: | An intermediate unit in theory and practice of scriptwriting. The particular genre/s offered - stage, radio, film, or television - is dependent on availability of staff. Emphasis on critical workshop discussion leading to completed examples of the student's own work. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An understanding of introductory theory and practice of scriptwriting. Examined representative scripts that illustrate the script writer's craft. Engaged in scriptwriting exercises designed to develop essential skills. Discussed scripts in workshops as their progress through the drafting process. Developed a potentially producible short script. |
