Approaches to the study of historical geography. Geographical analysis of historical data. Process in historical geography. Form in historical geography. The European exploration of Australia. Constraints. The response. The settlement process. The economic, social and ecological implications of the transport revolution. Environmental and technological change and evolving cultural landscapes.
