Syllabus:

Provides the skills to organise local history resources in a variety of formats, provide reference services for users of local studies collections and participate in promotional activities and public programs.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- The ability to organise local studies resources in a suitable way which encourages their use. Known how to deal with enquiries from a range of users. The skills to identify and collect suitable resources. The ability to participate in activities which promote the use of local studies collections in the local community.
