Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Evaluated midwifery and related research findings in terms of their relevance to midwifery practice. Synthesised a conceptual framework for use in midwifery practice. Demonstrated the ability to utilise the principles of scientific inquiry in the design of midwifery strategies which promote the health of childbearing women and their families. Discussed relevant contemporary health care issues which impact on maternity care. |
