Syllabus:

Guided independent study while undertaking work experience relevant to individual development and career path within the tourism industry. Non-paid work within an organisation for the equivalent of one day per week whilst undertaking a study of a major activity related to tourism.
 

Unit Outcomes:

By the end of this unit, successful students will have - Demonstrated their ability to operate in a real world of work environment. Demonstrated capacity to operate successfully in a real work situation. The ability to work within the internal organisation social processes of the chosen place of work. Knowledge of external business environment content and context. An ability to relate theoretical skill and knowledge acquisition to the real world of work.
