Syllabus:

Provides an in depth understanding of the major concepts, models and skills of effective team performance for team leaders and managers. Current theories of teamwork and research on group dynamics and team performance are covered. Students learn and practice key group facilitation skills. Team rewards and recognition strategies are also covered.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have - An ability to apply models for leading teams. Knowledge of characteristics of effective teams. An ability to resolve conflicts.
