Syllabus:

To provide students with a practical, short term internship in some aspect of professional art practice. Students will undertake a project under the direction of a professional artist or arts administrator for a four week period. Each project will be individually tailored to students' interests based on the nature of the activity undertaken by the arts professional.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- The ability to work within a professional environment as a member of a team. The ability to solve problems set in a professional working situation. The ability to translate the experience of university to the workplace. A more realistic idea of the practices of artists, designers, arts administrators, conservators and so on.
