Syllabus:

Development of a significant film, video or broadcast production.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On completion of this unit students will have demonstrated - An advanced understanding of the variety of interrelated processes, issues and professional requirements involved in the pre-production, production and post-production of a short drama or documentary. An advanced technical expertise in at least one area of specialization through the production of their major project. A substantial and professional contribution to the pre-production, production and post-production of a short drama or documentary. Professional conduct. An advanced understanding of narrative theory and an ability to work creatively to produce original productions. An advanced understanding of cinematic conventions.
