Syllabus: |  Development of skills in searching for research literature, critically evaluating it, referencing, and preparing a literature review. Planning of a research project and preparation of a research proposal. |

Unit Outcomes:  | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Demonstrated the ability to use electronic search databases to locate literature and the ability to use EndNote to organise their references. Demonstrated the ability to review the literature critically in a research area. Demonstrated the ability to plan a research project and the ability to write a research proposal and in some cases developed skills in data collection. |
