Syllabus:

Examines leadership in sports administration. Organisational effectiveness. Equal opportunity in sports administration - cultural and gender considerations. Advanced administration of sports personnel, sports facilities and sports safety. Advanced sportspromotion. Financial management in sports administration. The future of sports administration.
 

Unit Outcomes:

This unit applies Organisational Theory to sporting organizations. With reference to Australian and New Zealand organizations students should understand the various techniques used by sports administrators to develop and improve their organization.
