Syllabus: | Analysis of automatic control systems in the frequency domain. Compensations techniques using time and frequency methods. Case Studies in control system design. Commercial computer packages for analysis and design. State equation representation. Performance criteria. Sampled data systems and digital control systems. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have built on the knowledge gained in Dynamic Systems 332/Process Control 303 by the study of more advanced concepts and methods in control theory application to Mechanical and Mechatronic engineers. |
