Syllabus: | A timetable is negotiated for studies with the Academic Supervisor and the Unit Coordinator. The expectation is to meet regularly, by prior arrangement and also consult subject experts or design professionals as appropriate. A design project will be defined in negotiation with the Academic Supervisor and approved by the Unit Coordinator. The negotiated project brief guides the independant study program. |

Unit Outcomes: | Upon completion of this unit students will have - Developed skills, knowledge and specialist experience within a design investigation and reflective process. Demonstrated an ability to broaden and apply theorectical, contextural studies and skills that underpin professional design practice. Demonstrated an understanding of how to negotiate, write and carry out the outcomes of the Design Negotiated Contract. |
