Syllabus: | The design and compilation of the report of the major design research and development project including all appropriate databases, research protocols and findings, tables, schematics and the specific design format to be developed relevant to the nature of the major project submission. In the case of a student choosing to write a Research Thesis without a design project, both Design Final Project and Design Project will be combined. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Demonstrated their ability to critically evaluate their design research work and solutions to design problems. Systematically constructed a critical design development strategy and documented and communicated this to both expert and lay audiences. Demonstrated the ability to identify and source all critical information necessary to the rigorous pursuit of design problems, including an understanding of relevant design methodologies. |
