Syllabus: | A project unit developing hand skills and organisational methods to support the creative processes in design. Design fundamentals and the range of design activities that are related to practical application for design are explored along with facets of relevant design history and theory. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Developed the ability to make judgements about the figure/field relationships in 2D design. Developed an awareness of the communicative power of composition. Communicated the idea of visual investigation and development in the design process. |
