Syllabus:

Exploration of the following themes through discussion and project work - tectonics and composition, human environmental and design processes, scale and order.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Shown an understanding of three dimensional space/volumetric spaces. Shown an understanding of space, form, scale, proportion, light, colour and materials within interior design. The capacity toresolve design problems at an informed and creative level, reflecting an ability to combine the functional requirements of the brief with the magic or poetry of the environment and its impact on the occupant. The capacity to clearly communicate the design through the conventions of drawing used within the profession.
