Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have- Understanding of advanced recent readings from the major journals and books on pressing issues of macroeconomics. Knowledge of the importance of scholarly discussion and critical analysis of macroeconomics in a global economy. Analysed four modules these include: exchange rate theory and practice, current issues in the global macroeconomic environment, unemployment, distribution and government policy and government policies in a global economy. Examined the world economy as a whole, and also studied various case studies and policies from the US, Australia, Asia and other regions. |
