Syllabus: | An analysis and evaluation of current second language acquisition theory. Pedagogic grammar of English and a contrastive analysis between English and aspects of other languages-lexis, syntax and phonology (focus on Asian languages). |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - A familiarity with current theories of second-language acquisition theory and methods of first and second-language analysis. |
