Testing in diabetes mellitus, asthma and glaucoma. Ovulation and pregnancy testing. Test for coronary heart disease risk factors. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Demonstrated an understanding of the mechanisms, effectiveness and procedures for laboratory testing in community pharmacies. Developed an appreciation for screening, monitoring and diagnostic testing in specific chronic diseases. Discussed test results with patients and other health professionals. |
