Syllabus: | Project based individually negotiated research project into aspects of Western Australia's visual culture, undertaken with the supervision of a staff member of the Visual Culture Research Unit. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Developed independent research skills to effectively investigate the visual arts. An awareness of the key concepts of qualitative research and the ethnographic tradition. Effectively practiced and applied the appropriate skills to research projects in the visual arts. Developed further awareness of the beliefs, ideas and theologies which constitute practice in the visual arts. |
