Syllabus: | Examination of theories and techniques of physiotherapy practice, models of service delivery, current developments in physiotherapy care, promotion of health and prevention of disease and dysfunction in the client group served by the specialised area of study. Experience in the clinical application of advanced physiotherapeutic skills of diagnosis and treatment. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have developed competencies in assessment, evaluation and management of clients within the special area of interest selected. Evaluated the reliability and validity of measurement tools related to the area of interest. Developed advanced clinical reasoning skills in the evaluation of management of clients, peers and others. Discussed the evidence based practice in the assessment and management of clients within the specialised area of interest. |
