Syllabus: | Sketch load path diagrams for building frames acted upon by gravity, wind and earthquake loading. Structural elements in timber, reinforced concrete, steel and masonry for strength and serviceability. Gravity retaining walls for stability. Analysis of large structures using standard software. |
