Syllabus: | Preparation and presentation of a business plan. The plan will relate to some business proposal in the agribusiness sector. The student will, in consultation with staff, select a potential business activity or idea and develop a comprehensive business plan. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Developed a professional quality business and / or marketing plan for a client. Have gained the ability to integrate and apply business, technical and management processes to professional orientated problem solving. Enhanced capacity to engage in professional team projects. Enhanced capacity to communicate effectively with a business client. Shown an awareness of contemporary agribusiness issues - local, national and international. Made decisionsabout their academic time management and have developed decision-making skills associated with their program of study. Communicated effectively using oral and written (including computers) media. |
