Syllabus:

Sociology of deviance and social control. Interactionist and labelling approaches to analyse the social issues of mental disorders, homosexuality, white collar crime, juvenile delinquency, alcoholism, pornography, prostitution, anger and violent crime, rape and suicide. Application of sociological and psychological concepts to the understanding of the deviant identity, plus a major research paper.
