Syllabus:

Specifically devised for postgraduate students of non-English speaking backgrounds. Includes research, seminar, critical reading and academic writing skills, research proposals, evaluation and editing of research writing.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On completion of this unit students will have an understanding of- A range of language and interpersonal skills that enable them to present orally their research aims competently. Research skills to competently carry out graduate and postgraduate studies. The academic discipline-specific structures necessary for research writing.
