Syllabus: | In depth investigations of workplace injuries, incidents or diseases - prepare reports and any other relevant evidence with the required detail to initiate appropriate action. Discuss the course this action may take and evaluate the likely success of actions on the participants attitudes and long term behaviour. Identify and evaluate alternative compliance strategies. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will be able to - Carry out in-depth investigations of workplace incidents and prepare a report of the incident investigation and any other relevant evidence with sufficient detail to initiate appropriate legal action. Discuss the course that this legal action may take. Identify and evaluate other strategies towards resolving health and safety issues in the workplace. |
