Syllabus:

The design of on-line interactive programs using a suitable environment. Menus, data maintenance, reporting, graphics, windows. Development productivity tools. Advanced programming techniques - static and dynamic data structures and their implementation.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Understood the importance of data structures in the design of programs. Selected the most suitable algorithm for manipulating any data structures. Appreciated how the representation of data can affect the results produced by a program. Appreciated the need for data abstraction and encapsulation.
