Syllabus:

Design of management control systems, organisational control through the budget process, strategic management accounting, decentralisation and management accounting systems, responsibility reporting and performance evaluation.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have developed management control systems that align with the business unit strategy. Appraised management accounting practices as an aid to planning and implementing strategies. Demonstrated information search skills.
