Syllabus:

Introduction to the Common Law System. Contract Law, Commercial Negotiation and Mediation Lecture, The Australian Federal System, Mining Law, Moot. Actual tuition undertaken as 16 hours of class in a four day module.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An understanding of the context in which the Australian common law system operates. An appreciation of the contractual legal framework within which Australian business functions. Explained and analysed fundamental aspects of Australian mining law.
