Syllabus:

Deregulation. Bills of exchange. Cheques and payment orders. Payment systems. Banker and customer relationship. Lending securities.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have- Understood the process and principles of a deregulatory environment and the effect of the environment surrounding the banking sector. Practically appreciated the movement of negotiable instrumentswithin a payment system. Discussed the legal environment relating to banking interation. Analysed the security that is charges and mortgages in different property sectors.
