Syllabus:

The development and presentation of original research work agreed upon in consultation with the course coordinator. The research must be geotechnical in nature and be related to the mining industry. Projects are supervised by academic staff, external supervisor or both, depending on the nature of the design project, and can be done off campus.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On completion of this unit students will have - Developed and presented reasearch work agreed upon in consultation with the course coordinator.
