Syllabus: | Upon completion of this unit students will have - Gained an overall understanding of the use of digital remote sensing for mapping the earth's surface, developed an understanding of the physics of of data acquisition and the steps necessary to extract information from that data and gained experience in using industry standard image processing software. |

Selecting a remote sensing system for application. |
