Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of the unit you will be able comprehend the structures of coordination compounds, understand and perform calculations using the Born-Haber cycle, perform a range of mathematical calculations related to the manipulation and interpretation of data, write, draw and name structures of organic compounds, gain familiarity with the characteristic reactions of functional groups, understand the principles of chromatography, calculate the pH of various solutions and understand the concept of a buffer solution. |
