Syllabus: | FORTRAN 90 - arithmetic computations, control structures, data types and control of precision, array processing and matrix manipulation. Procedures and design of structured programs. Numerical methods - theory, algorithm and implementation in F90 roots of nonlinear equations, solution of systems of linear equations by direct methods, numerical interpolation and integration. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to write with good style well-documented computation programs in F90; Design numerical algorithms for the solutions of nonlinear equations, system of linear equations, numerical interpolation and integration; Implement any numerical algorithms on computers using F90. |
