Syllabus:Investigation of creative and technical devices used by some of the world's most significant film makers to impart unique style and feeling to their works and how to adapt and apply them to that own work.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An understanding of the manner in which film-makers may use the elements of film structure to reflect their personal style. An understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the key positionsin a film production crew. The ability to recognise the key elements of a screenplay and develop a scene breakdown and shooting plan to cover the action and establish. Revealed or highlighted aspects of the meaning of the written text. Worked at a level consistent with graduate study.
