Syllabus: | Investigates the connections between photographic analouge and digital acquisition technologies, by a project-based introduction to photographic darkroom custom printing and a range of digital acquisition demonstrations. This program will also examine the integration and application of the medium of the photography with design devices and applications. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Developed skills in the use of the photographic darkroom process and equipment. Developed skills in the printing of black and white photographs. Developed skills and competencies in photographic portrait lighting and image construction. Developed an introductory understanding of digital photographic acquisition technologies. |
