Syllabus: | A workshop based, technical introduction to Adobe Photoshop on a Macintosh operating system. Students will work through clearly outlined tutorials on image acquisition and manipulation, eventually leading into a final project for assessment at the end of semester. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have- Developed introductory skills in image scanning, cleaning and the manipulation of bitmap graphics. Developed introductory skills in the use of Adobe Photoshop using a Macintosh Operating System. Developed an understanding of image resoluations, file formats and colour modes in Adobe Photoshops. Produced and designed specifically for a print based medium. |
