Syllabus:Examination of the theory and practice of Design photography with particular reference to its use in the Design industry. Enables students to achieve a degree of Photographic technical and conceptual proficiency through a project-based curriculum. Also provides students with the opportunity to develop individual areas of Design Photographic specialism and expertise.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Developed technical skills and competencies in Portrait Photography. Developed individual areas of specialist photographic learning and enquiry. Developed an intermediate knowledge and understanding of digital photographic acquisition systems. Developed competency in Design Photographic enquiry, research and investigation. Developed a competent Photographic Self Promotion device.
