Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit, students should have a basic understanding of two-dimensional graphics, man machine interface, input and feedback. Representation of rigid solids and surfaces, patches, Bezier and B-splines. Hidden line and surface removal, shading. Raytracing and radiosity techniques. Techniques for displaying scenes-rendering, light sources, control of objects, specification of data representation. Device and system independent visualisation. Emerging Visualisation standards. Open GL, C, gtk used as vehicle for testing and implementing. |
