Syllabus: | Conduct of the detailed design and implementation of an IT project to explore IT principles and integrate material learned in other IT major units. Practical experience conducting and managing an IT project. Seminar discussion of advanced contemporary topics of IT including integration of programming, technological infrastructure, construction and installation of IS and EC systems, IT management, and the IT organisational function. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have practical experience in undertaking an IT project, understanding of the relationship between the different themes (analysis, design, development and technological infrastructure) as related to IT, understanding of advanced and contemporary IT management topics, develop an ability to work in a team on a IT project and technical experience implementing an IT project. |
